President's Welcome Message
A warm welcome is extended to all folks who visitwww.northjerseychorus.org! The chorus, established in 1948 as the Wyckoff Male Chorus, later becoming the North Jersey Male Chorus and, since 1995 when it became a mixed chorus, is now known as the North Jersey Chorus and will proudly celebrate its 75th Anniversary. Membership is open to all singers in all voice parts. Members enjoy shared camaraderie in a light-hearted atmosphere under the direction of Marie E. Harrington, Conductor, and Robert V. Legacy, Jr., Accompanist since 1967! As a non-profit organization, proceeds received from two performances a year, in May (Spring Concert) and in December (Holiday Concert), support the presentation of music scholarships to local graduating high school students. Singing is an unending universal expression of feelings and emotion. We aspire to share our music with the community as we continue our rich history, welcome new members, and make new friends.
